Orakçı giving the visitors the lead 0 - 1. Halftime score was 0 - 1. ÇILGIN claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

A handball in the penalty area gave the home team a penalty 68 minutes into the match, and W. van Praag was able to score, taking the scoreline to 1 - 1. 1 - 2 was the score with 69 minutes played, after E. Işıtan cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for AO. AO's E. Yada was shown a yellow card after 73 minutes for slicing down an opponent. ÇILGIN were forced into a substitution as O. Resti couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing R. Urquicia to come in off the bench. F. Cecetto of ÇILGIN got sent off for kicking the ball after the whistle, a completely uncalled for move, earning him his second yellow card of the game. ÇILGIN's P. Meneghello Pisi made an attempt at equalising 85 minutes into the match, coming in from the right, but the ball hit the post and the defence easily cleared the rebound. Possession in this half belonged to ÇILGIN, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

Most important ÇILGIN player was L. Nordtorp. B. Nachtigal turned in a dismal performance, however. AO's top performer was clearly E. Işıtan. On the other hand, E. Damar's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 2.
