Magoński, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. After 35 minutes, $$_GS sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached Z. Romano, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 4 - 0. The players of $$_GS now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. 4 - 0 was the score after the first half. $$_GS had most of the ball, with 83 percent of possession.

$$_GS increased the lead as M. Geambaşu struck to make the score 5 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Things were deteriorating for the away team as $$_GS scored another to make it 6 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for D. Magoński after 56 minutes. $$_GS's S. Jacquot swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. S. Jacquot left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 70 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. B. Bomer was the replacement. P. Cana became the new $$_GS captain. 76 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Z. Romano broke through, making the score 7 - 0 for $$_GS. M. Geambaşu acted with superior experience when, 77 minutes into the match, he predicted a pass, intercepted it and then finished off with a goal. 8 - 0 for $$_GS! D. Magoński wanted to play on, but the $$_GS coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 81 minutes into the game by D. Secuianu. After 84 minutes, B. Bomer put $$_GS ahead 9 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. $$_GS claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 86 percent.

Most important $$_GS player was Z. Romano. On the other hand, J. Gamblin's play was disheartening. M. Nurol performed admirably for Necabettin. F. Güntimur was a disappointment, however. The match ends 9 - 0.
