Good work by the GeNÇLeR defensive line after 33 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found B. Şalcı alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. A. Arató was having a great game - if anything the pouring rain seemed to be spurring him on! The crowd was amused as C. Hafıza of GeNÇLeR used a few interesting tricks and dribbles to get into the penalty box. The finish by İ. Akgöz wasn't very amusing, however, as the ball flew way over the crossbar. CityFC's M. Belek made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 43 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. Halftime score was 0 - 2. CityFC claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

After 56 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave O. Tolay a chance to increase the lead for CityFC, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 3. After this, you could see that the players of CityFC were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. GeNÇLeR's K. Nzrangerenko was shown a yellow card after 61 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The home crowd cheered when, after 64 minutes, M. Belek's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. The goal to make it 1 - 3 was scored by L. Løchen after 65 minutes, following an opportunistic counterattack down the middle by GeNÇLeR. 69 minutes into the match, M. Toshishai came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. Possession in this half belonged to CityFC, who controlled the ball 61 percent of the time.

GeNÇLeR's best player was L. Løchen. However, İ. Akgöz made a disastrous appearance. Most important CityFC player was M. Belek. On the other hand, P. Cieciura's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 3.
