Hakangayir mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. Hüspas took a creative approach on the field. They were singing the praises of C. Lönnborn 4 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Hakangayir. 11 minutes into the game, Hüspas seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organisation. İ. Onursal should probably have put his team up another goal after 13 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by J. Fritsch kept the visitors in the game. Hakangayir had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. Hakangayir's K. Mathisen saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 28 minutes. 1 - 0 was the score after the first half. Hakangayir had most of the ball, with 61 percent of possession.

During the break, Hüspas's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to solid organisation. Hüspas's S. Fezahan got himself booked for a foul. Hakangayir put in a good effort on the right, but P. Ibsen saw his volley fly wide of the mark 79 minutes into the game. Hüspas's E. Özütok was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - P. Hochmuth managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 1 - 1 after 80 minutes. P. Hochmuth of Hüspas was able to make an impressive rush past the sluggish C. Grandi, which resulted in a goal making the score 1 - 2. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave E. Özütok from Hüspas a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 85 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! E. Halminen of Hakangayir had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. Ł. Kubiszewski came in to finish the match. Hakangayir enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.

The most dominating Hakangayir player was without a doubt P. Ibsen. Ł. Kubiszewski was a disappointment, however. Hüspas's top performer was clearly D. Groenestein. On the other hand, E. Kardan's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 2.
