(388941035)

15-07-2012 15.00
Clouds darkened the skies at
FuzzY S.Y.K Arena as 19227 spectators turned up for the match.
Nicasio Carreaga was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Pietro De iudicubus and
Ivan Vukomanov.
FuzzY tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination.
The following players took the field: Gallos - Curto, Marouco, Plasari - Taszári, Peräkangas, Højbjerg, Alonso - Džin, Gain, Tavernier.
Yaran had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.
Lineup: Musial - Soysan, Zamfir, Soysaltürk, Özengin - Zanoli, Odkan, Aufschneider, Gaca - Lider, Pişkin.
FuzzY demonstrated their creative tactics on the field.
FuzzY's
D. Marouco was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 20 minutes.
21 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for FuzzY was
Ó. Alonso.
Yaran were close to putting the equaliser away after 32 minutes as the opposing defence lost control of the ball to
Ş. Zamfir in a scuffle towards the left of the goal, but in the end the ball was cleared over the dead ball line.
The visitors almost came back with an equaliser 39 minutes into the match after a good combination down the middle, but when
R. Gaca tried to finish the attack, he couldn't deliver the shot hard enough to seriously challenge the keeper.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in FuzzY's
A. Gain increasing the lead to 2 - 0.
2 - 0 was the score after the first half.
Possession in this half belonged to FuzzY, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.
FuzzY's
T. Džin saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 61 minutes.
A well placed corner kick from
H. Soysan was followed by
R. Aufschneider's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Yaran, the score now 2 - 1.
A. Gain could have put FuzzY up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 79 minutes.
80 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
J. Peräkangas broke through, making the score 3 - 1 for FuzzY.
By now, the players in FuzzY felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
After 88 minutes, a well-worked counterattack by Yaran on the right presented an easy opportunity in front of the goal that was duly converted by
R. Gaca to make it 3 - 2.
FuzzY claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.
FuzzY's best player was
A. Gain.
R. Plasari on the other hand, had a terrible day.
Yaran's top performer was clearly
S. Zanoli.
R. Aufschneider was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 3 - 2.
