AtamİZİNDEYİZ 2 - 0 FCC
(388957284)

29-07-2012 15.00
26708 punters turned up at
M.K.Atatürk Futbol Sahası, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came.
Fabian Hogedoorn was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Ducu Militaru and
Otokar Ernest.
Everyone was excited about the upcoming
İstanbul derby and the crowd was divided evenly.
AtamİZİNDEYİZ decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
Starters: Özok - Pihlajaniemi, Rupenian, Bournet - Carlsjö, Wrisberg, Gatica, Morgansson, Massons - Strauss, Daiminger.
FCC tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
Lineup: Topazzini - Kovács, Caddi, Korczyński - Čolović, Brumaru, Ždímal, Balen, Baía - Vijeikis, Bagnato.
The wings were the focus of most of FCC's attacks today.
13 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for AtamİZİNDEYİZ was
S. Strauss.
AtamİZİNDEYİZ's
R. Carlsjö had an excellent opportunity after 33 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles!
C. Kovács made a run for the goal 36 minutes into the game but the home team's left back managed to sort the situation out in the end.
It was obvious that FCC had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle.
V. Brumaru made a good effort at breaking through on the right, but the home team's left defence cleared the ball to a corner.
1 - 0 was the halftime score.
AtamİZİNDEYİZ claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.
After 51 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
M. Daiminger gave the AtamİZİNDEYİZ supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 2 - 0.
By now, the players in AtamİZİNDEYİZ felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
J. Gatica caused mayhem in his own defensive line with some mad dribbles within his own penalty zone, but FCC's
J. Baía's shot went just wide.
Although the whole team were struggling to impress, FCC's
V. Brumaru was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 70 minutes.
R. Maas was given a chance to change things around.
Unhappy with the result so far in the game, the FCC manager used a brief break in play after 70 minutes to give the players new directives.
81 minutes in, FCC appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
weak.
Players in FCC heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
R. Maas from FCC a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 86 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
Unfortunately for AtamİZİNDEYİZ,
Q. Bournet was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field.
V. Ekmel replaced him.
AtamİZİNDEYİZ's
M. Daiminger saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 87 minutes.
AtamİZİNDEYİZ had most of the ball, with 68 percent of possession.
J. Gatica performed admirably for AtamİZİNDEYİZ.
G. Özok on the other hand, had a terrible day.
FCC's best player was
G. Caddi.
C. Kovács was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 2 - 0.
