Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 12000 to Chansen de Roland. Alejandro Cruz Calderón was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Zoltan Reiwel and Wilfred Hazewinkel. stropan decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. The following players had been chosen: Quispel - İnce, Allain, Shapira, Seçki - Mang, Hoellinger, Dam, Codreanu - Kuru, Biduedo.

KaRa started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players took the field: Perver - Wolgast, Estrada, Heredia - Owais, Pauwels, Deulofeu, Salonen, Soykök - Chiappi, Eşrefpaşalı.

KaRa used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. E. Eşrefpaşalı gave the visitors the lead 27 minutes into the match to make it 0 - 1. The goal was scored from the penalty spot after a handball in the penalty area. KaRa's X. Deulofeu was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 39 minutes. The crowd was on its feet 42 minutes into the match, as stropan's F. Allain found himself unmarked in front of the goal after a dash up the left side. He calmly put away the 1 - 1 equaliser. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. KaRa had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.

Given a free kick close to the byline, KaRa tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let L. Owais slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 1 - 2, 49 minutes into the game. With the crowd on their feet chanting wildly, some great moves down the right hand side after 50 minutes gave stropan a wonderful opportunity to level the score, and Z. Kuru stepped up to the challenge. 2 - 2 İ. Çiler was called on to replace stropan's A. Quispel after 62 minutes following a nasty collision. E. İnce was handed the stropan captain's armband. E. Eşrefpaşalı delivered a good free kick from an excellent position 69 minutes into the game, but luck wasn't on KaRa's side this time and the ball went wide. KaRa's L. Owais refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 75 minutes. After 80 minutes, E. Eşrefpaşalı sent the corner kick right to X. Deulofeu who headed it sharply past the keeper. 2 - 3! Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by KaRa, with 55 percent of the ball.

Most important stropan player was M. Biduedo. İ. Çiler was a disappointment, however. KaRa's best player was J. Salonen. K. Perver on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 3.
