Başkent's C. Valdés's long shot really ought to have found the net 57 minutes into the match, but it fell just wide of the target. C. The home crowd was given a certain amount of consolation when R. Rafanelli scored after a brilliant midfield combination through the centre, reducing the lead to 2 - 4. Modelaj's E. Martín was shown a yellow card after 78 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The home side worked their way through the middle and almost got one back when M. Melen tried to sneak the ball past the keeper. A. Barda was too alert for that! G. Öncül knocked one home from a counterattack down the right wing, making the score 2 - 5 after 86 minutes.
