previous 3/10 next 5/10  Ulaşlı 1 - 2 Prime (389069072)

The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 2691 had shown up at FC Ulaşlı Arena for the match. Lukas van der Vliet was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Alfonz Petriška and Romano Facciolla. Ulaşlı had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. Lineup: Rüzgar - Kurban, Ilım, Nasir, Orun - Gülseren, Dilsafa, Korkmaz, Acar - Topçu, Odabaş.

A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Prime. Starters: Mülazım - Dumangiu, Örü, Bercaru - Chaine, Kraly, Fuglestad, Koutsivitis, Ravza - Alıç, Soruç.

İ. Ravza has acquired a talent for predicting the movements of the opposing defence over the years and this almost resulted in a goal 22 minutes into the match. With 25 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, K. Fuglestad needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. Prime had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 31 minutes in when M. Kraly came up alone against E. Rüzgar who managed a block. 32 minutes into the game, S. Soruç almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game Ulaşlı managed a counterattack, but M. Ilım took a soft shot from the left flank that was easy prey for the alert keeper. Prime took the lead after 38 minutes making the score 0 - 1. İ. Ravza placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. 0 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Prime, with 68 percent of the ball.

After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, P. Chaine got himself booked. The manager of Prime was not happy. Prime's E. Alıç had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 73 minutes having been played. C. Öngören was the replacement. The home crowd was not impressed when M. Kraly came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 75 minutes. Prime were now up 0 - 2. Prime came close to extending their lead as M. Kraly delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 76 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. Y. Koutsivitis's inexperience was obvious when his continual hesitation to put in a tackle allowed T. Korkmaz plenty of time to pick an unguarded area of the goal for his shot, marking one for Ulaşlı. 1 - 2. Prime enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 71 percent of possession.

Ulaşlı's top performer was clearly D. Odabaş. R. Dilsafa was a disappointment, however. Prime's best player was C. Öngören. K. Örü on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 2.
