(389258982)

12-08-2012 15.25
Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and
Younes Arena saw a crowd turnout of 40597.
Lars Ingelmar was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Lucicã Dan and
Willem Biesheuvel.
Younes started off with a 4-5-1 lineup.
The following players took the field: Santos-Suárez - Leinauer, Vainiotalo, Campos, Hossayni - Taqui, Pero, Bobei, Pestanya, Frijns - Cotecchia.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for TexasAC.
They fielded: Werwiński - Stoppelman, Grėbliauskas, Naujokat - González Pondal, Bickerstaff, Kölling, Savorgnani, Mishaxhiu - Fernandes Sá, Bernell.
H. Vainiotalo was very close to giving Younes the lead with an ingenious free kick routine 33 minutes into the match, but the ball just grazed the bar.
A. Kölling sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from
M. Fernandes Sá after 36 minutes of play, making the score 0 - 1.
After 43 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
N. Bernell a chance to increase the lead for TexasAC, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
F. Cotecchia from Younes a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 44 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
D. Bickerstaff was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so TexasAC's
G. Furlani had to come off the bench.
Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 44 minutes, Younes did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker,
A. Pestanya was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 1 - 2.
It was 1 - 2 at the break.
Possession in this half belonged to Younes, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.
TexasAC's
A. Grėbliauskas was shown a yellow card after 54 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
A drive down the left side allowed
G. Furlani to get in close and score another goal for TexasAC after 68 minutes, taking the score to 1 - 3.
83 minutes in, Younes's
A. Hossayni received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
After 86 minutes, TexasAC's
K. Mishaxhiu burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 4.
Confident in their lead, TexasAC's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
88 minutes into the game Younes broke through on the left wing and
E. Bobei managed to reduce the lead to 2 - 4.
Younes claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.
Younes's top performer was clearly
M. Pero.
A. Hossayni was a disappointment, however.
TexasAC's best player was
M. Fernandes Sá.
However,
E. Stoppelman made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 2 - 4.
