Clear skies welcomed the 45696 spectators who had made their way to
kampala boys.
Albert Cheron was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Vasily Fatkin and
Xaver Häußler.
Everyone was excited about the upcoming
Mukono derby and the crowd was divided evenly.
A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for kampala.
The following players had been chosen: Telani - Pitarch, Poşircă, Židić, Brusadelli - Canu, Otim, Perret, Christiansen - Montalvo Galán, Martel.
FCU started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.

Due to a severely mistimed tackle,
E. Massa of FCU spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by kampala, with 65 percent of the ball.
kampala's best player was
L. Perret.
P. Canu turned in a dismal performance, however.
FCU's top performer was clearly
S. da Fonseca.
On the other hand,
N. Serumaga's play was disheartening.
The match ends 3 - 0.
