A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 67015 to Mülayim Dumrul. Dawid Kuberski was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Livio Pamer and Diego Gigliotti. J. Haddad gave Pirontus the lead with a beautiful free kick after 10 minutes. 1 - 0! The corner kick from L. Wästerlius was powerfully met by the head of G. Thaler to make the score 1 - 1. Sosker's B. Cielecki was shown a yellow card after 24 minutes for slicing down an opponent. After 25 minutes, the home side was awarded a penalty. The visitors protested wildly but the referee was adamant. J. Haddad easily put the ball away to give the lead to Pirontus. 2 - 1 The visiting team's D. Fontán was able to score the 2 - 2 equaliser with a header 30 minutes into the match, after some good work on the right. 2 - 2 was the halftime score. Pirontus claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 53 percent.

The guests almost went up by a goal after 60 minutes when G. Thaler came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though. G. Bahrami's speed was clear to see after 67 minutes, as he darted down the wing and released H. de Visser who placed the ball into the back of the net to make the score 3 - 2. U. Campione finished off a quick charge from the left of the field by chipping the ball just past the home side's keeper, making the score 3 - 3 71 minutes into the match. Possession in this half belonged to Pirontus, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

The most dominating Pirontus player was without a doubt H. de Visser. G. Bahrami was a disappointment, however. Sosker's top performer was clearly D. Fontán. On the other hand, L. Wästerlius's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 3.
