Dark skies made the crowd of 34290 at Bon Basteh Banafsheh a little nervous, but the rain held off. ShokooFehaye were determined to use their long shot ability. pst.talesh were relying on their ability to counter-attack. ShokooFehaye focused on finding shooting opportunities from distance and after 33 minutes M. Cillanco fired off the big cannon, but the shot went sailing over the cross bar and into the car park. 39 minutes in, ShokooFehaye's I. Zampetas received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Z. Hamed Heidari's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for pst.talesh, he bravely continued in the match. ShokooFehaye took the lead 60 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as I. Zampetas elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. A quick counter attack by ShokooFehaye forced the opponent's defender to give away a freekick. C. Barillari was allowed to take it quickly by the referee, much to the dismay of the goalkeeper who wasn't prepared. 2 - 0! At this point, it was obvious that the players of ShokooFehaye lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. B. Kusak of ShokooFehaye was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. pst.talesh needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 78 minutes T. Simula made way for A. Ayazi. Some beautiful play by ShokooFehaye set up A. Viglakis in a good shooting position after 81 minutes, but F. Potter made a great save on the low hard shot. After 82 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as pst.talesh found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to weak. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, pst.talesh's E. Musi was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 85 minutes. T. Puppin was given a chance to change things around. I. Zampetas's fine footwork caused nothing but headaches for L. Szondy. The keeper wasn't fooled however, and confidently scooped up the ball. With 89 minutes played, the pst.talesh coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. A. Mostafavi came on, F. Potter had to leave the fray. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by ShokooFehaye, with 56 percent of the ball.

C. Paolini performed admirably for ShokooFehaye. However, A. Viglakis made a disastrous appearance. pst.talesh's top performer was clearly Z. Hamed Heidari. A. Mostafavi on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 0.
