Persepolis-B 2 - 2 OLAMPIC
(389304014)

08-07-2012 15.45
14531 spectators arrived at
seyediyan anbarani, where weather conditions were pretty good for football.
Inozens Adelstein was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Juan Torregrosa and
Bjarke Kirkegaard.
Persepolis-B had chosen a strategic 5-4-1 formation.
Starters: Cichowski - Cabaleiro, Ramírez, Taherkhan, Van Pellecom, Arpagaus - Pourahmad, Rothenburg, Silverlius, Kauser - Endasa.
OLAMPIC tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination.
The following players took the field: Jachmann - Amir Moez, Ashenaei, Sedaghat, Hajpour - Sedaghat, Khaksefidi, Rahimi, Izad Neshan - Kianfar, Amir Saei.
Persepolis-B clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could.
It was an obvious ambition of OLAMPIC to use their ability at attacking on the flanks.
The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to
T. Kauser, but the Persepolis-B player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0!
3 minutes into the game OLAMPIC's
Z. Sedaghat found a gap in the home side's central defence and scored with a fabulous shot, making it 1 - 1.
Persepolis-B's
S. Ramírez had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 16 minutes having been played.
E. Fandke was the replacement.
With 28 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience,
E. Fandke needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed.
The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of OLAMPIC's
Z. Amir Saei after 34 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 1 - 2 lead.
1 - 2 was the halftime score.
Persepolis-B claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.
With the clock showing 47 minutes played,
T. Kauser equalised for Persepolis-B after curling a free kick around the defensive wall to make the score 2 - 2.
49 minutes into the match, OLAMPIC nearly took the lead, as
P. Rahimi broke through on the right.
M. Cichowski made the save, however.
70 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a OLAMPIC substitution.
B. Mahvash Mohammadi came on for
Y. Khaksefidi.
Making his way up the middle 74 minutes into the match,
V. Endasa almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert
C. Jachmann blocked it to keep the score level.
OLAMPIC's
P. Rahimi could have put the guests one up after 77 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but
M. Cichowski was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose.
82 minutes into the game, OLAMPIC wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
Z. Sedaghat gave
R. Negari a quick hug as he left the field.
Persepolis-B had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.
Persepolis-B's top performer was clearly
V. Endasa.
On the other hand,
V. Silverlius's play was disheartening.
Most important OLAMPIC player was
M. Kianfar.
J. Amir Moez was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 2 - 2.
