01-07-2012 16.00
The 79226 spectators at
Tude Arena were in for an afternoon of sunshine.
Massimiliano Lenci was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Johan Runesson and
Marek Szymbor.
People from all over
København had joined up for the derby.
Svenne had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
They fielded: Kleve - Riis Jeppesen, Reingruber, Tourneur - Moş, Mosqueira, Perinu, Huber-Schum, Salaun - Grossler, Hornemann.
Seksløberen decided to use a 4-5-1 set up.
The following players took the field: Garde - Bumba, Marvits, Kamp, Escobar - Vendelbo, Tollerud, Kongshøj, Davidsen, Hemmingsen - Sanquer.
The sun seemed to put
M. Huber-Schum in a great mood, and he showed off his technical skills all match long.
Svenne took the lead 26 minutes in, as
N. Riis Jeppesen broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper.
Svenne's
P. Moş saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 31 minutes.
P. Tourneur should probably have put his team up another goal after 32 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by
N. Garde kept the visitors in the game.
The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0.
Possession in this half belonged to Svenne, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.
J. Salaun caught everyone by surprise with a unexpected volley after 48 minutes.
P. Moş was perfectly placed to take advantage of the play, but unfortunately, he was as surprised as anyone and couldn't finish for Svenne.
B. Hornemann left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 70 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
K. Ankipāns was the replacement.
With 70 minutes played, the Seksløberen coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around.
D. Rotter came on,
T. Marvits had to leave the fray.
H. Hemmingsen found it hard to catch his breath today in the stifling heat.
82 minutes in, Svenne's
J. Mosqueira received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
Due to a severely mistimed tackle,
H. Hemmingsen of Seksløberen spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game.
With 84 minutes gone, Svenne had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However,
M. Huber-Schum did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out.
E. Kleve's name was chanted throughout the stadium after he made a fantastic save from
U. Vendelbo's shot from the left 86 minutes into the match.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Svenne's
E. Grossler increasing the lead to 2 - 0.
Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Seksløberen's
P. Kongshøj was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 89 minutes.
K. Svenninggaard was given a chance to change things around.
After 89 minutes, Seksløberen switched
F. Sanquer with
S. Ølholm, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch.
Svenne claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.
Svenne's best player was
M. Huber-Schum.
A. Perinu on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The most dominating Seksløberen player was without a doubt
N. Tollerud.
S. Ølholm turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 2 - 0.
