A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 64726 to Krüger Arena. José Ramón Agudo was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Boris Schuetze and Joël Pointeau. S. Dyg Rossen's lightning pace was too much for M. Sovero who could only look on as the Krüger player blasted one home. 1 - 0. V. Bošković enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again. The visitors kept the pressure on to tie the game when, after 29 minutes, N. Levi broke through the centre and found himself alone with the keeper. D. Miranda made a great block, though. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Krüger scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for N. Uggerholm after 30 minutes. Cheers filled the stadium as B. Manniche broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 0 to Krüger. Confident in their lead, Krüger's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. The referee showed Krüger's B. Manniche the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. D. Miranda made a brilliant save 42 minutes into the match, blocking a rocket of a shot from Q. Moreau on the right hand side. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Krüger enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

After a short break after 50 minutes, Krüger seemed to change their tactical approach a bit. R. Stauning of Krüger received a yellow card after 77 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. F. Borup could have put Krüger up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 83 minutes. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Krüger, with 55 percent of the ball.

Most important Krüger player was B. Manniche. However, G. Nordhagen made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating GAFC player was without a doubt Q. Moreau. N. Levi on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 0.
