The players of yes-sir now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. yes-sir's S. Lang was shown a yellow card after 37 minutes for slicing down an opponent. 2 - 0 was the score after the first half. yes-sir had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.

With 59 minutes played, A. Rømer could have brought this one home for yes-sir as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. The goal to make it 2 - 1 was scored by S. Mboya after 62 minutes, following an opportunistic counterattack down the middle by Warmguf. Almost all the way down to the corner flag, yes-sir's A. Neilick somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for S. Lang, who struck for 3 - 1. 66 minutes in, S. Mboya made an incredible run up the middle and nearly reduced the home side's lead, but D. Hol refused to let the ball slip by him. The bench was restless, and with 70 minutes passed Warmguf's coach gave I. Mikáczó the opportunity the player had been hoping for. S.
