Maack was followed by M. Spur's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Brazil, the score now 1 - 2. With 40 minutes played, Nørhalne's B. Meier found an opening in the visitors' left side defence, but his shot was handled easily by the keeper. With 42 minutes played, P. Maack nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. Nørhalne's N. Kongsbak got himself booked for a foul. 1 - 2 was the halftime score. Brazil had most of the ball, with 62 percent of possession.

With 48 minutes played, Brazil put themselves up 1 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was M. Spur. Brazil's B. Salomonsen was shown a yellow card after 56 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Brazil came close to extending their lead as M. Spur delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 57 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. Nørhalne didn't give in and with 63 minutes played C. Asaa was able to make the score 2 - 3 after an attack on the right. After 67 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave M. Spur a chance to increase the lead for Brazil, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 2 - 4. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for M. Spur. After this, you could see that the players of Brazil were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. The home crowd cheered when, after 77 minutes, T. Thomsen's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Brazil, with 63 percent of the ball.
