Humpties 4 - 1 Brazil (389413457)

Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 64825 at Humpti Dumpti Land today. Björn Bengtsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Thomas Andreasson and Narciso Dattwyler. People from all over Storkøbenhavn had joined up for the derby. Humpties started off with a 4-5-1 lineup. They fielded: Behrmann - Møller, Meuwissen, Bruus, Flejsborg - Jackman, Schou, Martensen, K. Jepsen, Larsen - Doğruer.

Brazil decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. The following players had been chosen: Yousef - Thomsen, Andersen, Ener - Maack, Salomonsen, Krogh, Winther, Thuesen Dahl - Rumph, Kramer.

Humpties were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. 20 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Humpties was V. K. Jepsen. N. Ener tied the game at 1 - 1 after 35 minutes, when he converted an incredible pass from the right. 1 - 1 was the halftime score. Humpties enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

After 63 minutes, E. Doğruer came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 2 - 1, giving Humpties the lead. The referee showed Humpties's V. K. Jepsen the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. A cross coming in on the right hand side left J. Rumph alone in front of the goal after 72 minutes but his shot was woeful. Brazil's H. Yousef had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 73 minutes having been played. T. Povlsen was the replacement. Cheers filled the stadium as R. Meuwissen broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 1 to Humpties. Confident in their lead, Humpties's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Brazil's S. Thuesen Dahl was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 80 minutes. After 83 minutes, Humpties's J. Larsen found the back of the goal with a beautiful free kick. 4 - 1. With 87 minutes played, J. Møller of Humpties fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Humpties were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. Brazil's N. Ener was shown a yellow card after 89 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Brazil, with 52 percent of the ball.

J. Behrmann performed admirably for Humpties. K. Flejsborg on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Brazil player was without a doubt J. Kramer. T. Povlsen was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
