FFFF 3 - 2 Boldklub
(389413883)

01-07-2012 16.00
28938 spectators had found their way to
FFFF Arena, despite the heavy rain.
Luca Mackel was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Mathias Ziep and
Cecil Wynsberghe.
FFFF decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
Starters: Juhl Nielsen - Rostgaard, Maestro Rubio, Otti - Cioacă, Bækgård, Corneliussen, Kodrup, Spagna - Llubani, Mongüa.
Boldklub tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination.
The following players had been chosen: Svensson - Nachmias, Sensat, Sbampato - Benevides, Nowak, Virta, Felici Ridolfi - Dobrev, Vagner, Pulvirenti.
4 minutes into the match, the speedy
A. Llubani easily outpaced
J. Sensat, chipped the keeper and made the score 1 - 0.
Boldklub tied it all up, 7 minutes in, after a spectacular goal by
K. Dobrev, who miraculously broke through the home side's central defence, making it 1 - 1.
A. Llubani, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass.
A. Llubani could have put FFFF into the lead after 29 minutes, but the free kick went just wide.
After 32 minutes,
A. Llubani sent the corner kick right to
J. Bækgård who headed it sharply past the keeper. 2 - 1!
K. Dobrev was struggling to make the ball dance with his usual trickery and panache, and the opposing players had little trouble shutting him down in these muddy conditions.
A. Llubani unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide.
2 - 1 was the score after the first half.
Boldklub had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.
After 53 minutes,
M. Spagna put FFFF ahead 3 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing.
After this, you could see that the players of FFFF were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
D. Benevides had a couple of good opportunities to reply, but the home team's keeper
A. Juhl Nielsen was simply unbeatable.
Boldklub reduced the lead after 60 minutes to 3 - 2 as
R. Nachmias easily chipped the ball past the home side's keeper after a dazzling play from the right.
The visitors kept the pressure on to tie the game when, after 61 minutes,
K. Vagner broke through the centre and found himself alone with the keeper.
A. Juhl Nielsen made a great block, though.
Against a lesser team, Boldklub could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 64 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save.
FFFF's
R. Rostgaard was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 65 minutes.
As the game started to slip away for Boldklub, the manager decided to change the tactical approach.
Boldklub enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.
A. Mongüa performed admirably for FFFF.
Y. Otti was a disappointment, however.
Boldklub's top performer was clearly
K. Vagner.
However,
R. Nachmias made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 3 - 2.
