Panzeta struck home from a rebound off the crossbar, following a shot from the right. FCC had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 39 minutes in when N. Dominici came up alone against F. Haimerl who managed a block. Halftime score was 1 - 1. FCC had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

46 minutes into the match, the FCC manager wanted to try a new tactic, and the players loyally obliged. FCC's M. Cheyns's long shot really ought to have found the net 52 minutes into the match, but it fell just wide of the target. The coach of FCC wanted to try to change things around after 55 minutes, and gave new tactical instructions. 59 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but E. Sande, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide. After 60 minutes, the FCC coach had a quick word about the tactical set-up and decided to try another approach. 65 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a bøller substitution. J. Trasborg came on for A. van Iersel. 71 minutes in, bøller's N. Stana received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. N. Stana's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert M. Jari was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for bøller. 2 - 1. F. Haimerl's name was chanted throughout the stadium after he made a fantastic save from E. Sande's shot from the left 75 minutes into the match. FCC claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

Most important bøller player was D. Czekal. V. Caspersen was a disappointment, however. FCC's best player was G. Ligios. However, J. Koefod made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 1.
