The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 64934 had shown up at SeaGulls Nest for the match. 0 - 1 was the score with 10 minutes played, after M. Dossobuono cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Schnors. 27 minutes into the match mågerne's L. Brixen head butted an opponent nastily, and so the referee sent him off immediately. mågerne's counterattacks created a good chance for S. Kobæk Larsen on the right after 29 minutes, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar. A drive down the left side allowed G. Skovgaard to get in close and score another goal for Schnors after 35 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 2. Halftime score was 0 - 2. Possession in this half belonged to Schnors, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

A well placed corner kick from N. Voldstedlund was followed by T. Albrechtsen's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for mågerne, the score now 1 - 2. A. Reininger got a fingertip on M. Dossobuono's shot from the left 67 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. mågerne's T. Albrechtsen had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 73 minutes having been played. A. Galeazzi was the replacement. With 74 minutes played, Schnors's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to P. Mondie he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 1 - 3. Schnors will have to do without K. Koç for a time, due to a bad foot injury at the 76 minute mark. He was substituted by N. Zabalo. Schnors increased their lead after 81 minutes when N. Zabalo broke through on the right, upping the score to 1 - 4, much to the home crowd's dismay. After this, you could see that the players of Schnors were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. A misunderstanding between the visitors' keeper C. Massari and his left defence could have resulted in a goal for mågerne, but J. Ørting's finish was way too lame. Schnors enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

J. Ørting performed admirably for mågerne. However, L. Hörnling made a disastrous appearance. Schnors's top performer was clearly A. Schaefer. N. Zabalo on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 4.
