The home keeper was stunned 16 minutes into the match when he misjudged the free kick by I. Florea and dived in the wrong direction. The visitors increased the lead to 0 - 2. I. Florea came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over B. Thomassen but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. M. Bizzarri increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 3. After this, you could see that the players of Beerhunters were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, I. Florea would have put Beerhunters up another goal 36 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. It was 0 - 3 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Beerhunters, who controlled the ball 87 percent of the time.

After 51 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed A. Ngugi to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 4. Beerhunters increased their lead after 65 minutes when I. Florea broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 5, much to the home crowd's dismay. The visitors' I. Florea took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 66 minutes into the match. 0 - 6 for Beerhunters. That made three goals for I. Florea and he was marked down for the hat trick. After 76 minutes of game time, I. Florea had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but B. Thomassen was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. C. Kristensen received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 79 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 7. The Beerhunters fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Beerhunters claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 90 percent.

FCB's top performer was clearly O. Schröder. On the other hand, B. Thomassen's play was disheartening. The most dominating Beerhunters player was without a doubt A. Ngugi. A. Quesada was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 7.
