The well executed routine resulted in a goal for TLG, the score now 0 - 1. The crowd chanted their encouragement as jelleteam's J. Ventura came in from the right after 19 minutes and put the ball in the net to level the score at 1 - 1. TLG's H. Almås had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 34 minutes having been played. E. Grummesgaard was the replacement. E. Pekkarinen was handed the TLG captain's armband. jelleteam's B. Chevallier left the field after 39 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was I. Maśka. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to jelleteam, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave M. Costa from TLG a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 62 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Slack defending gave jelleteam a chance to take the lead with 70 minutes played, but S. Huber's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition. TLG players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. TLG had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 79 minutes in when A. Kampherbeek came up alone against J. Haakonsen who managed a block. jelleteam's P. Verbicaro placed the ball right at his teammate's feet after a corner, but P. Steffansen couldn't finish. The cannonball from 35 metres by A. Kampherbeek of TLG was an impressive sight, but didn't make it into the net. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.

jelleteam's best player was S. Huber. On the other hand, P. Verbicaro's play was disheartening. TLG's top performer was clearly J. Eugui. E. Grummesgaard on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 1.
