Frem 4 - 1 Cruisers (389426655)

Due to an all-day shower, 28609 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Wind Stadion. Gilles Guillouët was the appointed referee. The derby had been the talk of København all week and fans of both teams could be seen throughout the stadium. Frem had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. They fielded: Debeuf - Storm Jensen, Armentano, Tatzer - Eines, Glud, Nederquist, Adelørn, Bundgaard - Jadevičius, Boury.

Cruisers started off with a 3-4-3 lineup. Lineup: Haraldsson - Szpinda, Vader, Alderliefste - Varvel, Gryc, Damkjær, Donners - Beşer, Vincent, Islas.

Cruisers clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. P. Bundgaard caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 6 minutes. This gave Frem the 1 - 0 lead. P. Beşer spent most of the time in a heap on the ground today, his normally rapid movement hindered by the slippery pitch. Frem solidified their lead at the 25 minute mark, as D. Boury dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0. Frem's T. Storm Jensen was shown a yellow card after 39 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Unfortunately for Cruisers, Z. Szpinda was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. J. Kalhøj replaced him. The boggy pitch disrupted the game, especially for technical players like H. Glud. Frem managed to extend their lead to 3 - 0 when D. Nederquist cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Frem, with 59 percent of the ball.

P. Bundgaard increased the lead for Frem to 4 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! After this, you could see that the players of Frem were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. The home side's D. Boury came close to extending the lead 66 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but H. Haraldsson managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. 74 minutes into the match, Cruisers replied and reduced the lead to 4 - 1. F. Alderliefste scored on a marvellous cross pass coming in from the left. Possession in this half belonged to Frem, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

Frem's best player was M. Tatzer. However, H. Glud made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Cruisers player was without a doubt P. Beşer. On the other hand, L. Vader's play was disheartening. The match ends 4 - 1.
