Clouds darkened the skies at 9érne Trafford as 37115 spectators turned up for the match. Davide Corrocher was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Samuel Bild and Mark Boom. 9érne tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. Lineup: Jensen - Aslak, Hansen, Næss - Nørgård, Raboch, Nonbye, Tokarz, Juel - Munk, Iversen.

9érne seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. 9érne players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. R. Munk gave 9érne the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 K. Nonbye should probably have put his team up another goal after 13 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by M. Uman kept the visitors in the game. BenjiiRockets were great at switching from defence to attack, and after 14 minutes, I. Kjær Jensen swept through the middle on a counterattack, making the score 1 - 1. A badly positioned defensive formation on a free kick after 29 minutes led to BenjiiRockets's V. Stanojlović giving the visitors the lead 1 - 2. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 2. 9érne enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 63 percent of possession.

T. Curth got left behind when 9érne's B. Iversen made a sudden run forward after 72 minutes, finishing off with a neat strike. 2 - 2! 9érne had a chance to take the lead after D. Juel's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 80 minutes. 9érne claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 65 percent.

Most important 9érne player was J. Tokarz. However, G. Næss made a disastrous appearance. BenjiiRockets's top performer was clearly A. El-Omar. On the other hand, K. Fagerberg's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 2.
