The crowd of 38033 turning up at Tumpernes Park today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Hugo Wolfsdorf was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Per Carlsson and 霍 (Huo) 置明 (Zhiming) . SU had chosen a strategic 5-3-2 formation. Starters: Buchinger - Kopczyński, Công Hãn, Elgaard, Piskoř, Söderblom - Rodrigues, Kosnar, Koivumäki - Thongdang, Leeuw.

J. Bøgholm was having a great game - if anything the pouring rain seemed to be spurring him on! SU had a chance to take the lead after K. Kosnar's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 25 minutes. Slack defending gave SU a chance to take the lead with 36 minutes played, but S. Thongdang's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition. J. Kopczyński spent most of the time in a heap on the ground today, his normally rapid movement hindered by the slippery pitch. SU could have put themselves ahead after 39 minutes but B. Piskoř missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. SU's N. Rodrigues tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. 42 minutes in, SU's N. Rodrigues received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Some great play up the middle by SU led to a chance for S. Thongdang to score after 43 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. Englene were great at switching from defence to attack, and after 44 minutes, F. Xavier swept through the middle on a counterattack, making the score 0 - 1. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. SU enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.

With a shot curled in from just outside the middle of the penalty area after 57 minutes played, B. Piskoř of SU made the score 1 - 1. With 59 minutes gone, S. Dyhr suddenly found himself completely free on the right wing when a counterattack by Englene caught their opponents by surprise. Only a great save by the opposing keeper prevented him from scoring. Making his way up the middle 65 minutes into the match, B. Piskoř almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert B. Petersen blocked it to keep the score level. 67 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for SU to take the lead after a good cross from the right found K. Kosnar alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. Englene had to make a substitution after 72 minutes. L. Svendsen limped off the field and was replaced by S. Christensen. SU had most of the ball, with 61 percent of possession.

The most dominating SU player was without a doubt I. Leeuw. L. Elgaard on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Englene player was J. Bøgholm. S. Christensen was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 1.
