(389433869)

17-06-2012 16.00
It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 37532 that came out to
Dyreskuepladsen.
Timo Gusovius was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Theo Gropius and
Gilberto Rast.
Everyone was excited about the upcoming
Århus derby and the crowd was divided evenly.
Bondevennerne started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
The following players had been chosen: Bon - Haubjerg Scharling, Uhrenholt, Kvistgaard - Bach, Børgh, Lindrup, Præst, Hegedüs - Isaacs, Lindgaard.
Sorrento had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
The following players took the field: Berland - Godholt, Myśliński, Gray - Tissari, Mereu, Rasschaert, Duisić, Ardeleanu - Matsi, Hricko.
Several players seemed a little dazed by the warm weather, and were repeatedly tricked by the clever and agile
E. Godholt.
29 minutes into the game,
G. Mereu almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar.
The referee showed Bondevennerne's
R. Haubjerg Scharling the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
K. Myśliński gave the visitors the lead 42 minutes into the match to make it 0 - 1. The goal was scored from the penalty spot after a handball in the penalty area.
It was 0 - 1 at the break.
Bondevennerne had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.
B. Duisić came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over
N. Bon but overcooked it and hit the bar instead.
The sunny day didn't make things easy for
R. Haubjerg Scharling who didn't seem his usual powerful self on the pitch.
A drive down the left side allowed
K. Myśliński to get in close and score another goal for Sorrento after 63 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 2.
Sorrento's
M. Gray had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 66 minutes having been played.
P. Dahlborn was the replacement.
At 68 minutes into the game, Bondevennerne's
F. Lindrup deftly knocked the ball home after an impressive run down the left, reducing the visitors' lead to 1 - 2.
With 69 minutes having been played, Bondevennerne scored to make it 2 - 2. A dribble down the left wing, followed by a shot which took a wicked bounce off a defender resulted in the keeper having no chance. Everyone thought it'd been an own goal, but
V. Bach was marked down as the scorer.
72 minutes in, Sorrento's
G. Mereu received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
A loud groan was heard from the fans of Bondevennerne, as
G. Præst left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match.
A. Vad-Jensen took his place on the field.
Possession in this half belonged to Bondevennerne, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.
The most dominating Bondevennerne player was without a doubt
J. Lindgaard.
R. Isaacs turned in a dismal performance, however.
Most important Sorrento player was
H. Matsi.
J. Rasschaert was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 2 - 2.
