Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 33437 to Estadio Communale. Eric Anceaux was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jussi Näppä and Alcides Madini. Matsi's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0. V. Sundsten's lightning pace was too much for P. Dahlborn who could only look on as the Jaxx player blasted one home. 1 - 1. The corner kick from E. Godholt was powerfully met by the head of B. Hricko to make the score 2 - 1. Sorrento's C. Ribers swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. A counterattack by Jaxx after 20 minutes could have resulted in a goal, but M. Soldatović, coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off. E. Godholt of Sorrento was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Sorrento, with 59 percent of the ball.

63 minutes into the game Jaxx's V. Palm found a gap in the home side's central defence and scored with a fabulous shot, making it 2 - 2. 85 minutes into the game, V. Sundsten finished off a Jaxx left wing counterattack, making the score 2 - 3. 86 minutes in, Jaxx's M. Soldatović received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. A loud groan was heard from the fans of Sorrento, as M. Tissari left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. G. Ruart took his place on the field. Sorrento had to make a substitution after 89 minutes. H. Matsi limped off the field and was replaced by A. Roca. Sorrento enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.

L. Ardeleanu performed admirably for Sorrento. P. Dahlborn on the other hand, had a terrible day. Jaxx's top performer was clearly V. Sundsten. However, I. Tygesen made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 3.
