Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 36821 to ProtonEngen. Dirk Imboden was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Douwe Mulders and Philippe Günthart. Jarsbo mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. The crowd gasped as B. Didriksen of Bæstet was flattened by an opponent after 30 minutes and had to be carried off. U. Ørts came in off the bench. The Bæstet free kick 32 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of N. Flejsborg, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 1 - 0! B. Villaruel of Bæstet was able to make an impressive rush past the sluggish S. Gam, which resulted in a goal making the score 2 - 0. Jarsbo had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. 41 minutes into the match M. Schrader put Bæstet ahead 3 - 0 with a truly marvelous free kick. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Bæstet lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 0. Bæstet enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

Jarsbo needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 70 minutes H. Ưng Phu made way for T. Nenchen. J. Jenssen left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 71 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. N. Blanco was the replacement. M. Schrader's curling free kick almost found the goal for Bæstet, but the visitors' keeper somehow managed to get ahold of it. 81 minutes in, Bæstet's N. Blanco received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Jarsbo were forced into a substitution as D. Tellegen couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing H. Welkenraedt to come in off the bench. With 85 minutes played, H. Welkenraedt of Jarsbo fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Bæstet claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 64 percent.

Most important Bæstet player was B. Villaruel. U. Ørts was a disappointment, however. Jarsbo's top performer was clearly T. Wassenaar. However, T. Nenchen made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 0.
