(389436510)

08-07-2012 16.00
The crowd of 36743 turning up at
Frem City Arena today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain.
Laureano Pasos was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Ferdinando Venneri and
Ari Kolling.
All of
København was shut down for the day, as fans of both clubs came to the derby.
Frem tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
Starters: Mankki - Gecele, Mandel, Štankelis - Røjkjær, Storm, Vinzents, Stefansen, Jeslund - Parum, Falch Andersen.
Team decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
Lineup: Frahm - Hauza, Zerbe, Berson - Balle Hansen, Kill, Gołka, Moreno Torres, Iriberri - De Roeck, Vieira.
The visitors could have taken the lead from a free kick after 13 minutes, if it wasn't for the jaw-dropping save by
E. Mankki.
Frem made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left
J. Parum completely alone with keeper
R. Frahm, who made a spectacular block.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
I. Kill from Team a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 24 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
M. Jeslund was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Frem's
H. Thomasen had to come off the bench.
V. Golubović was called on to replace Team's
R. Frahm after 32 minutes following a nasty collision.
Team's goal to make the score 0 - 1 came via a questionable penalty, but
M. Zerbe struck it home without a second thought.
Frem's
B. Mandel made an attempt at equalising 42 minutes into the match, coming in from the right, but the ball hit the post and the defence easily cleared the rebound.
Halftime score was 0 - 1.
Frem enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.
M. Røjkjær was struggling to make the ball dance with his usual trickery and panache, and the opposing players had little trouble shutting him down in these muddy conditions.
The crowd was on its feet 62 minutes into the match, as Frem's
H. Thomasen found himself unmarked in front of the goal after a dash up the left side. He calmly put away the 1 - 1 equaliser.
Making his way up the middle 82 minutes into the match,
I. Gecele almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert
V. Golubović blocked it to keep the score level.
With 83 minutes played
B. Falch Andersen almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide.
The referee showed Frem's
P. Štankelis the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
Frem took the lead, 2 - 1, after a penalty 89 minutes into the match.
I. Gecele scored from the penalty spot.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Frem's
M. Røjkjær increasing the lead to 3 - 1.
Team breathed new life into the game with an opportunity to reduce the score after 89 minutes, but the home side's defenders cleared the ball on the line, after a long shot coming in from the left rebounded off the crossbar.
Frem claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.
Most important Frem player was
K. Stefansen.
P. Štankelis was a disappointment, however.
H. Vieira performed admirably for Team.
V. Golubović turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 3 - 1.
