Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 31346 at Skolegården today. Arto Henttonen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Michael Leuthner and Janne Mellin. Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Vodskov. Gheorghiu evened things up for Eleverne with an impressive goal coming up the middle. 1 - 1. V. Colom gave Eleverne the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 2 - 1 With 35 minutes played, Eleverne put themselves up 3 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to J. Salosaari, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. V. Zuffi increased the lead for Eleverne to 4 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! The players of Eleverne now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. 4 - 1 was the halftime score. Eleverne increased the lead as V. Colom struck to make the score 5 - 1 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. 77 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as M.
