It had rained all day, but 21056 hardy fans still made it out to Hummers FC Arena. Srbislav Studen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Toni Barrink and Benjamin Ribes. Hummers started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Møller - Reiter, Laurens, Larsson - Lykke, Grafinger, Hage, Camero, van Velthuijsen - Gambaretto, Østergaard.

TEAM-CFM decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Starters: Vallier - Yurttaşer, Martellini, Skvarča - Rikhof, Schum, Niemann, Satamo, Påske - Madini, Mermans.

Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for TEAM-CFM. Hummers's I. Møller had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 23 minutes having been played. A. Savolainen was the replacement. TEAM-CFM had a great opportunity to score following a counterattack after 25 minutes, but I. Madini's shot from the left sailed high over the bar. The visiting K. Påske was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 26 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score. You could feel the tension in the crowd after the referee awarded the home side a penalty kick and a chance to equalise. Sadly, M. Østergaard's shot sailed wide of the goal. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. Hummers enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.

A well placed corner kick from I. Madini was followed by O. Rikhof's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for TEAM-CFM, the score now 0 - 2. M. Østergaard charged down the left and looked sure to score for Hummers 63 minutes into the game, but his shot went just wide. Coming in from the right, TEAM-CFM had a good opportunity to convert on a counterattack after 64 minutes, but A. Mermans's attempt to finish was easily stopped. After 65 minutes TEAM-CFM's R. Skvarča limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 70 minutes, TEAM-CFM tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. Hummers's L. Gambaretto found himself alone on the left side 71 minutes into the match and laid down a perfect shot - right into the arms of the keeper! Possession in this half belonged to Hummers, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.

The most dominating Hummers player was without a doubt W. Laurens. A. Savolainen turned in a dismal performance, however. TEAM-CFM's best player was I. Madini. O. Rikhof was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
