(389448324)

The 43294 spectators at
kristine park were in for an afternoon of sunshine.
Remigiusz Dankiewicz was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Erdenne Steendelaar and
Valentin Ogiermann.
Halds had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
Lineup: Enø - Queiroz, Weiss, Letournel - Lapeña Gómez, Jara, Moum, Pratsevall, Marsetti - Apelt, Kallas.
Greek decided to use a 3-4-3 set up.
Starters: Skals Jensen - Thorup, Ramusga, Bredal - Giesen, Klumsakul, Coûtant, Hedeland - Stanchev, Añón, Villa.
Halds clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle.
The sun seemed to put
J. Coûtant in a great mood, and he showed off his technical skills all match long.
After 8 minutes,
R. Weiss came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving Halds the lead.
After 30 minutes,
V. Letournel put Halds ahead 2 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing.
With 32 minutes played, Halds put themselves up 3 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to
S. Apelt, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home.
Confident in their lead, Halds's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
Greek reduced the lead after 33 minutes to 3 - 1 as
G. Añón easily chipped the ball past the home side's keeper after a dazzling play from the right.
3 - 1 was the score after the first half.
Halds had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.
It wasn't a good day at all for
K. Hedeland. His powerful style of play just didn't fit the bill on this warm day.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Halds's
S. Marsetti increasing the lead to 4 - 1.
After 86 minutes, Halds were awarded a free kick. Rather than shooting straight at goal, the taker went for an indirect variant which seemed to take his team mates a bit by surprise.
S. Apelt did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans.
After 87 minutes
S. Giesen made a speedy advance and dropped the ball to
G. Stanchev who shuffled it past the keeper. The score was now 4 - 2.
A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Halds to 5 - 2 as
S. Apelt finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle.
89 minutes in, an amazing pass from the left side resulted in a goal for the visitors, as
L. Ramusga anticipated the through ball and scored, reducing the deficit to 5 - 3.
It was obvious that team Halds had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Halds, with 58 percent of the ball.
Halds's best player was
R. Weiss.
H. Queiroz on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The most dominating Greek player was without a doubt
D. Villa.
H. Thorup turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 5 - 3.
