previous 6/10 next 8/10  Tempob 3 - 0 Drigstrup (389462840)

The crowd of 32326 turning up at The new Den today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Romain 'Forever' Malaise was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Shlomo Rollaz du Rosey and Germà Alabart. Tempob decided to use a 4-3-3 set up. They fielded: Dyg - Falch, Brandt, Vinther, Grundtvig - Kronenberg, Wied, Iturrieta - Henckel, Kock, Delacotte.

Drigstrup had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Starters: Breiner - Iversen, Sundberg, Håkansson - Nielsen, Traberg, Gregersen, Nielsen, Rosenberg - Gedsø, Riber.

Drigstrup used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. It was a bad day for the usually speedy A. Håkansson. The mud seemed to slow him down. J. Dyg looked great 12 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' N. Rosenberg. The muddy pitch made the game a gritty affair, which seemed to suit L. Nielsen just fine. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Drigstrup, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. After 41 minutes, B. Kronenberg came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving Tempob the lead. Tempob's B. Kronenberg struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 2 - 0 after 42 minutes. Confident in their lead, Tempob's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. It was 2 - 0 at the break. Drigstrup claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 65 percent.

62 minutes in, Drigstrup's J. Nielsen received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. A loud groan was heard from the fans of Tempob, as S. Kock left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. L. Kammer took his place on the field. Tempob's B. Kronenberg had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 78 minutes having been played. I. Larsen was the replacement. K. Brandt was first to reach a ball launched long through the center from Tempob's defence 80 minutes into the game. He managed to keep his cool and beat the goalkeeper to make the score 3 - 0. L. Kammer of Tempob was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Drigstrup had most of the ball, with 63 percent of possession.

Most important Tempob player was D. Falch. However, L. Kammer made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Drigstrup player was without a doubt L. Nielsen. N. Rosenberg was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 0.
