Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 38535 at Lille Parken today. Pelle Sejersen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ilya Shibarshin and Per Forsin. RB Vejle saw most attack opportunities on the wings. RsFh mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. It was obvious that RB Vejle had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. After 20 minutes, J. Kristensen came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving RB Vejle the lead. Players in RB Vejle heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. With 23 minutes played, RB Vejle put themselves up 2 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to R. Strauss, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. A lovely run by RB Vejle's S. Richardy left his markers for dead and should have resulted in a goal, but the finish went just wide. B. Ebbensgaard was called on to replace RsFh's G. Marturano after 36 minutes following a nasty collision. 2 - 0 was the halftime score. RB Vejle had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.

I. Bech unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. Things were deteriorating for the away team as RB Vejle scored another to make it 3 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for J. Andie Jensen after 57 minutes. The incalculable P. Risstrand of RB Vejle did everything right as he set up L. Schröder for a goal after 59 minutes. Unfortunately, the strike missed its target. Against a lesser team, RB Vejle could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 73 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. Possession in this half belonged to RB Vejle, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.

RB Vejle's best player was I. Bech. J. Andie Jensen was a disappointment, however. RsFh's top performer was clearly H. Terp. However, B. Ebbensgaard made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 0.
