Clear skies welcomed the 22764 spectators who had made their way to Tante tut Arena. Farquar MacEol was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Eduard Sârbu and Fernandinho Melo Vieira. Tante had chosen a strategic 3-4-3 formation. Starters: Pliefke - Jakobsen, Ganborena, Vendelø - Lütge, Gruber-Veit, López Díez, Charisis - Akbora, Mcwilliams, Petersen.

Seagal tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Kjærside - Wernersgrüner, Oikari, Férez - Pomelnikov, Lykke Frandsen, Gheorghe, Travaglini, Darkowski - Gomes, Tomasson.

Tante took a creative approach on the field. Seagal's R. Gomes could have put the guests one up after 20 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but L. Pliefke was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose. The referee showed Seagal's K. Oikari the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. A badly positioned defensive formation on a free kick after 35 minutes led to Seagal's S. Tomasson giving the visitors the lead 0 - 1. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 1. Seagal had most of the ball, with 72 percent of possession.

After 48 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for S. Tomasson who increased Seagal's lead to 0 - 2. After 56 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by Seagal was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options. 65 minutes into the game, Seagal were awarded a penalty and S. Tomasson was able to increase the visitors' lead to 0 - 3 rolling the ball in by the right post. By then S. Tomasson had scored three goals - a hat trick! The players of Seagal now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Seagal's I. Gheorghe was shown a yellow card after 67 minutes for slicing down an opponent. After 71 minutes Tante's L. Pliefke contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Seagal, with 70 percent of the ball.

Tante's best player was P. Petersen. M. Vendelø was a disappointment, however. H. Travaglini performed admirably for Seagal. R. Gomes turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 3.
