previous 7/10 next 9/10  Vilbert 3 - 3 ere (389482887)

Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 32230 at Bertrams Bolddrenge Arena today. Magne Andersen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Krzesisław Myczkowski and Lave Fredriksson. Everyone was excited about the upcoming København derby and the crowd was divided evenly. Vilbert had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Lineup: Adamsen - Burgwal, Vanin, Tīģeris - Apaydın, Kazior, Grygier, Estelrich, Voss - Tartagni, Heiberg.

ere started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Velasco García - Chiriatti, Bonde Nielsen, Montelongo, Sejersbøl - Lindgreen, Clayton, Urgnani, Braunmüller - Moesgaard, Reggiani.

ere clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. ere players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. ere took the lead 20 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. M. Reggiani was the scorer. A well placed corner kick from J. Moesgaard was followed by G. Chiriatti's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for ere, the score now 0 - 2. ere's G. Chiriatti refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 30 minutes. 34 minutes in, Vilbert's A. Kazior received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. ere were worse off though, as G. Chiriatti was unable to finish the game and no more substitutes were available! The home crowd was given a certain amount of consolation when G. Vanin scored after a brilliant midfield combination through the centre, reducing the lead to 1 - 2. A penalty was awarded after 38 minutes, and J. Moesgaard made the most of his chance to put ere up by another goal. 1 - 3 for the visitors. The players of ere now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 3. Vilbert had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

E. Tīģeris tried to get a goal back for Vilbert but despite all his hard work down the right, he just couldn't complete the move. It took several tries, but Vilbert managed to break through on the left after 57 minutes, getting the ball to M. Apaydın who easily reduced the lead to make the score 2 - 3. Vilbert's P. Estelrich was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 59 minutes. With 60 minutes having been played, Vilbert scored to make it 3 - 3. A dribble down the left wing, followed by a shot which took a wicked bounce off a defender resulted in the keeper having no chance. Everyone thought it'd been an own goal, but I. Grygier was marked down as the scorer. 85 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Vilbert substitution. R. Gram-Hansen came on for M. Apaydın. As the 85 minute mark approached, the Vilbert coach decided it was time for a substitution. J. Voss reluctantly made way for E. Estrup on the pitch. E. Tīģeris would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. L. Arambašić entered the game for Vilbert as the match clock showed 85 minutes. G. Vanin was the new captain of Vilbert - handed the armband by the departing player. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams in terms of possession.

Most important Vilbert player was G. Tartagni. However, E. Estrup made a disastrous appearance. ere's top performer was clearly M. Reggiani. P. Clayton on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 3.
