It had rained all day, but 7842 hardy fans still made it out to

S. Hendriksen gave the Ikast-onsdag supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 2 - 0.
Dianlund were desperate to get a goal back and pushed forward through the middle 30 minutes into the game. After a scramble in the box, the ball dropped to
F. Baunsbøl, who smashed it home to make the score 2 - 1.
Ikast-onsdag put themselves up 3 - 1 when
T. Reiter broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake.
38 minutes into the game,
T. Paaske had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came
Å. Richardy.
F. Piller became the new Ikast-onsdag captain.
It was 3 - 1 at the break.
Ikast-onsdag had most of the ball, with 70 percent of possession.
After 63 minutes, Ikast-onsdag's
T. Reiter found the back of the goal with a beautiful free kick. 4 - 1.
After this, you could see that the players of Ikast-onsdag were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
The Ikast-onsdag players could smell victory in the air.
S. Hendriksen wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for
H. Norling after 74 minutes.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Ikast-onsdag's
M. Berendtsen increasing the lead to 5 - 1.
A well-executed free kick by
T. Reiter after 75 minutes made it 6 - 1 for Ikast-onsdag.

T. Reiter was noted down for a hat trick!
H. Lade was called on to replace Ikast-onsdag's
N. Bjerre after 78 minutes following a nasty collision.
80 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as

F. Piller dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 8 - 1.
M. Berendtsen was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace.

T. Külek performed admirably for Ikast-onsdag.
On the other hand,
Å. Richardy's play was disheartening.
