Gellert knocked it home. 1 - 1 At 40 minutes played, H. Flindt came in from the right with the intention of giving HCA the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by HCA, with 56 percent of the ball.

With 65 minutes gone, B. Engholm suddenly found himself completely free on the right wing when a counterattack by HCA caught their opponents by surprise. Only a great save by the opposing keeper prevented him from scoring. Many thought B. Engholm ought to have been awarded a penalty 66 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around K. Vejlgaard after a determined run through the middle. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, M. Faarkrog scored for HCA putting them ahead 2 - 1, after 74 minutes. With 77 minutes gone, HCA had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, F. Krogsdal did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. HCA claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

Most important HCA player was J. Skydsgaard. However, F. Krogsdal made a disastrous appearance. O. Saki performed admirably for Fcb. K. Vejlgaard was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 1.
