D. Svare gave Farre the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0
Cheers filled the stadium as
A. Al Shazly broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to Farre.
Farre solidified their lead at the 10 minute mark, as
R. Juhl dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 3 - 0.
A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Farre to 4 - 0 as
O. Sahin finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
S. Meier squirmed through their central defence after 24 minutes, increasing the lead to 5 - 0.
By now, the players in Farre felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
5 - 0 was the score after the first half.
Farre claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 63 percent.
After 61 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by
D. Svare might have resulted in another goal for Farre. However,
L. Sandfeld made a spectacular save.
After 66 minutes
P. Hoffmann made a speedy advance and dropped the ball to
W. Kongaa who shuffled it past the keeper. The score was now 5 - 1.
After 67 minutes,
T. Meyer put Farre ahead 6 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing.
The head of
T. Hasselriis connected with a corner kick after 73 minutes, and the ball ended up with
J. Serup of Hjertmann who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 6 - 2.
Hjertmann certainly deserved a goal after some stunning play down the left, but
T. Hasselriis just wasn't able to finish.
Farre put in a good effort on the right, but
M. Suji saw his volley fly wide of the mark 75 minutes into the game.
After 82 minutes, Hjertmann's
P. Hoffmann swiftly ran past
S. Meier and nutmegged the keeper! 6 - 3.
D. Svare had a fantastic opportunity to put Farre up another goal 83 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar.
Farre had most of the ball, with 67 percent of possession.
Farre's top performer was clearly
R. Juhl.
However,
N. Frydenlund made a disastrous appearance.
Hjertmann's best player was
W. Kongaa.
On the other hand,
T. Hasselriis's play was disheartening.
