Nyholm had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 21 minutes having been played. K. Odér was the replacement. The balder captaincy was handed to A. Svensson. 30 minutes in, an amazing pass from the left side resulted in a goal for the visitors, as L. Baadsgaard anticipated the through ball and scored, reducing the deficit to 2 - 1. The visitors' equaliser seemed sure to come after 31 minutes, following a one on one situation around the left hand side of the goal area, but M. Daugaard got the best of it, blocking the shot from J. Smidemann. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 1. balder had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

Some brilliant football from the visitors' right wing resulted in a levelling of the score as Slumcocks's E. Juhl Nielsen put the ball in the onion bag after 61 minutes to make it 2 - 2. The home side put themselves ahead 3 - 2 after 68 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from T. Lamhauge, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. balder's K. Bjerrum got himself booked for a foul. 86 minutes into the match the visitors levelled the score at 3 - 3 as E. Juhl Nielsen struck home from a rebound off the crossbar, following a shot from the right. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by balder, with 53 percent of the ball.

Most important balder player was U. Fredslund. Q. Abu-Abdel turned in a dismal performance, however. Slumcocks's best player was J. Villumsen. However, J. Ahrensback made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 3.
