Quintero didn't let the weather get him down and made some great moves on the pitch in spite of the rain. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 6 minutes into the match, and T. Raichura wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. After 7 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as E.S.Sayada found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to inadequate. L. Flanquart received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 11 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The E.S.Sayada fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. E.S.Sayada's T. Voss was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - L. Flanquart managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 0 - 3 after 19 minutes. Hamadovich didn't give in and with 26 minutes played B. Nabli was able to make the score 1 - 3 after an attack on the right. It might be a while before the fans see Hamadovich's H. Quintero again, after he had to leave the field in great distress at the 39 minute mark. He was replaced by R. Alio. F. Pudimat was, after 40 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper A. Arhmani made the save. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 3. Hamadovich enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that E.S.Sayada had solid organisation. 47 minutes into the game, E.S.Sayada seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organisation. E.S.Sayada's V. Troutman got himself booked for a foul. 86 minutes into the match, Hamadovich's D. Jones collected a ball sent down the right and put it in the back of the net, narrowing the score to 2 - 3. Hamadovich had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

The most dominating Hamadovich player was without a doubt A. Trabucchi. A. Arhmani turned in a dismal performance, however. L. Flanquart performed admirably for E.S.Sayada. W. Buhl on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 3.
