The game was characterised by rough play and many physical challenges on the wet field, but H. El-Akil showed great heart and had a good game. With the crowd on their feet chanting wildly, some great moves down the right hand side after 14 minutes gave Real cf 96 a wonderful opportunity to level the score, and P. Steffansen stepped up to the challenge. 1 - 1 A penalty was given after 29 minutes, allowing the visitors to gain the lead: 1 - 2. V. Diribaş was the scorer. B. Halgren of Real cf 96 received a yellow card after 33 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. 34 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 3 as P. Spottag finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. The players of Klaphat now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Halftime score was 1 - 3. Klaphat had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

V. Diribaş was struggling to make the ball dance with his usual trickery and panache, and the opposing players had little trouble shutting him down in these muddy conditions. Coming in from the right, Real cf 96 had a good opportunity to convert on a counterattack after 67 minutes, but H. Sundstrøm's attempt to finish was easily stopped. Real cf 96 had a brilliant opportunity to reply as B. Halgren received a high ball from the right, striking the ball in the air. Only A. Morup-Petersen's reflexes saved him. B. Halgren knew he was in trouble after hacking down an opponent. Despite his pleading with the referee, the Real cf 96 player was shown a second yellow card and dismissed from the game. Klaphat were forced into a substitution as E. Bøndergaard couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing Å. Bertram to come in off the bench. T. Bonde, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass. H. El-Akil almost reduced the deficit, having drawn the entire left side defence away, but the shot went straight into the arms of the goalkeeper. After 89 minutes, the defensive line of Klaphat created a counterattack through the middle that gave Q. Lê Hà a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. Possession in this half belonged to Klaphat, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

M. Falkenlind performed admirably for Real cf 96. On the other hand, H. Wallander's play was disheartening. Klaphat's top performer was clearly Å. Bertram. A. Morup-Petersen turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 3.
