Haugaard the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. MBK's R. Birch had an excellent opportunity after 43 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! It was 2 - 1 at the break. MBK enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

MBK's T. Greve struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 3 - 1 after 56 minutes. MBK's R. Birch swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. The visitors' right side was dangerous today; R. Broge made the home team's keeper look foolish as he easily reduced the lead to make it 3 - 2 63 minutes into the match. Vejle's T. Bukhave was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 72 minutes. R. Curth unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. The home side's T. Busk came close to extending the lead 74 minutes into the game. MBK's best player was I. Raunkjær. Ş. Ahter turned in a dismal performance, however. N. Schouby performed admirably for Vejle. On the other hand, T. Filtenborg's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 2.
