Tsoy almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to B. Vessmann, but the RFC Bruges player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! Always quick and a menace to his opponents, A. Papp was very close to getting through after 24 minutes, but he could only put the ball into the keeper's arms. RFC Bruges made it 2 - 0 as B. Gastal got a touch to the floated corner kick and flicked the ball to B. Vessmann who whipped a low drive in off the far post. The visitors got one back when F. Ichim finished off a pass from the left and scored after 27 minutes. 2 - 1 was the score. After 29 minutes, the visitors levelled the scores after J. O'Connor made it through the middle and struck home to make it 2 - 2. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 2. Possession in this half belonged to RFC Bruges, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.

After some beautiful movement down the left wing, T. Lemon scored for RFC Bruges putting them ahead 3 - 2, after 56 minutes. With 68 minutes played, T. Lemon of RFC Bruges fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. RFC Bruges increased the lead as B. Gastal struck to make the score 4 - 2 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. R. Musmarra's tried to storm through the defence after 74 minutes, but F. Sarıgöz was just too fast to shake off and the rest of the defence got back to cover. Justified's G. O'Clery got himself booked for a foul. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by RFC Bruges, with 59 percent of the ball.

RFC Bruges's best player was T. Lemon. W. Hickey was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Justified player was without a doubt A. Pradas. However, F. Ichim made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 4 - 2.
