previous 10/10 next 2/10  Cannon 0 - 1 Tato (389892047)

35199 spectators arrived at ۩ Da Pimp's Crib ۩, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Cláudio Silva was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Bogdan Carp and Tommaso Bonomi. Cannon started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. They fielded: Selle - Moschini, Careta, Vejdělek - Castellana, Bliemetsrieder, García de Luera, Lanau, Michta - Chłopicki, Cojocaru.

A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Tato. The following players had been chosen: Fasoulas - Días de Arcaya, Richard, 智陽 (Zhiyang) - Ramić, Lynch, Crilly, Gallivan, Mangeard - Schlossnickel, Solano.

4 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but J. Lynch, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide. The referee showed Cannon's T. Careta the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The home crowd breathed a collective sigh of relief when P. Ramić was unable to put the ball in the net after his show of skill down the left 36 minutes into the match. He was seen beating the pitch in frustration at missing such a good chance to give his team the lead! The corner kick from C. Gallivan was powerfully met by the head of P. Días de Arcaya to make the score 0 - 1. Halftime score was 0 - 1. Tato claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

The coach of Tato was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 50 minutes, A. Caridade came on for F. Schlossnickel. J. Vejdělek of Cannon was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. C. Gallivan wanted to play on, but the Tato coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 80 minutes into the game by L. Miura. Some fine passing in the middle of the pitch, carving open the away defence, should have led to a goal for Cannon, but M. García de Luera's shot went over the bar. After 82 minutes of game time, M. Solano had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but É. Selle was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from A. Caridade after 83 minutes, and prevented Tato from going up another goal. Tato enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

Cannon's best player was M. García de Luera. L. Moschini was a disappointment, however. M. Solano performed admirably for Tato. On the other hand, L. Mangeard's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 1.
