The visiting F. Enright was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 17 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score. After 30 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave T. Kocimski a chance to increase the lead for Secede, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2. After 33 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for H. Carmezim who increased Secede's lead to 0 - 3. 0 - 3 was the halftime score. Secede enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

The visitors' H. Arteaga took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 50 minutes into the match. 0 - 4 for Secede. The players of Secede now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Fungarvan supporters cheered as good work down the right got the ball to A. Pinilla who reduced the visitors' lead after 53 minutes to 1 - 4. After 56 minutes, Secede's H. Arteaga burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 5. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, H. Arteaga would have put Secede up another goal 57 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. A well placed corner kick from D. Likadzijauskas was followed by F. Münchingen's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Fungarvan, the score now 2 - 5. A. Dajčman wanted to play on, but the Secede coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 75 minutes into the game by N. Haubjerg Scharling. Secede had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.

Fungarvan's top performer was clearly G. Tournaire. However, J. Tyukodi made a disastrous appearance. T. Kocimski performed admirably for Secede. F. Enright on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 5.
