Izidio Neto left the field after 26 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was R. Pissarra. After 33 minutes of game time, B. Alves had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but P. Torppa was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. After 34 minutes, the defensive line of Mambrava created a counterattack through the middle that gave R. Reis a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. Mota Bastos has the wonderful ability to create chances out of thin air. 89 minutes into the match he bamboozled a couple of opposition defenders before sending the keeper the wrong way and sidefooting the ball home into an empty net. That totally unexpected burst of flair made it 0 - 5. Spartak claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 65 percent.

The most dominating Mambrava player was without a doubt P. Torppa. However, D. Matos made a disastrous appearance. Most important Spartak player was B. Alves. B. Selimović turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 5.
