2 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Karanganhada was T. Serate. The home team will be cursing E. Birra for weeks; he finished off a great pass from the left, knocking it past the keeper without a problem. The match was level at 1 - 1 after 10 minutes. B. Balico gave the visitors the lead 13 minutes into the match to make it 1 - 2. The goal was scored from the penalty spot after a handball in the penalty area. There was concern in the stands when, at the 15 minute mark, DMilao's S. Madeira hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. 23 minutes into the match, F. Mangualde came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. J. Oliveira's speed is always a threat when he gets a little room to move, and 31 minutes into the match was no different as he broke free of his man to send a delightful through ball to M. Sousa Vieira who knocked it in for Karanganhada. 2 - 2! They were singing the praises of M. Sousa Vieira 34 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 3 - 2 to Karanganhada. 3 - 2 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to DMilao, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.

The visiting team's F. Mangualde was able to score the 3 - 3 equaliser with a header 50 minutes into the match, after some good work on the right. Karanganhada took the lead 65 minutes into the game by 4 - 3, as B. Calmão elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. Karanganhada's V. Nunes increased the lead to 5 - 3, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 74 minutes. Confident in their lead, Karanganhada's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Karanganhada managed to extend their lead to 6 - 3 when M. Sousa Vieira cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. At that, M. Sousa Vieira was noted down for a hat trick! The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave M. Sousa Vieira from Karanganhada a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 86 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! O. Nogueira of DMilao had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. R. Melo came in to finish the match. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by DMilao, with 60 percent of the ball.

Karanganhada's top performer was clearly J. Oliveira. T. Barral was a disappointment, however. DMilao's best player was S. Madeira. On the other hand, M. Lobato's play was disheartening. The match ends 6 - 3.
